My dearest Henry,
You are such a blessing in our lives! You are the happiest little soul, always sharing a smile with those around you - for both those you know and those you don't! Never lose your innate happiness and continue to bring joy and happiness to those around you! You constantly make yourself laugh - may you always be able to laugh at yourself and while life is so serious at times, what is life without some laughter and joy?!
You are such a clever little boy - terrifyingly clever sometimes! I hope that you always continue to learn and grow. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you cant do something. You can do hard things, and we will always be there to support you.
You are so adventurous! You are such a confident little boy, I don't think you have stopped walking and exploring since you started walking at 11 months old. Always maintain that sense of adventure and exploration. While scary at times, the world is such a wonderful place. Your father and I hope that we can explore a lot of the world by your side - but never stop exploring! Know that if you go off to explore, we will always be waiting for you with open arms.
You LOVE to talk! You are such a little chatter box and while to us you are just speaking gibberish, you speak with such conviction and such a "matter of fact"-ness. I hope that you always speak your mind and that you are able to use your voice to speak up for those who may not be heard.
You are a lover of animals and the outdoors. I hope that you maintain that passion and love of nature and the outdoors. You are always fascinated by any animal we see, but especially dogs. You always stop to give them a little "woof" and a cuddle. If you are ever upset, taking you outside calms you right down. I hope that you can always have that appreciation for the outdoors and the world around you.
